TablesLeather
A table reduced to its essence. A surface and a structure, held together by a series of precise connections. The legs are fixed beneath the tabletop, yet remain visually detached, as if they are simply held in place. At the points of connection, four pins hold everything together. They bind the leather, the tabletop, and the structure into one.
Resting on top is a piece of saddle leather, cut precisely to the shape of the table. Crafted with the same care as a leather object, it becomes the focal point of the piece. Over time, the leather will evolve. It will mark, darken, and develop a patina that reflects its use. Where the table is touched most, it will show. Gradually, the object becomes defined by the people around it. The first mark defines it. From that moment on, the table becomes yours.
